Getting authentic often means peeling away layers and diving into the core of your being.
What I love about our theme of authenticity and our ongoing work is that it aligns perfectly with the path of mastery. Authenticity isn’t a destination—it’s a continuous journey because we’re ever-changing.
To be truly authentic, we must develop the habit of paying attention to ourselves.
Attention is the most precious commodity nowadays. It’s constantly bought, sold, and tracked through our devices. Data systems know more about our habits than we do!
The process of “goo-ing down” to feel the soft, fluid parts of ourselves is foundational in building this habit. However, once we touch that deeper essence, it takes energy, power, and courage to bring it forward. This is when life becomes real and you become disruptive—in the best way.
As we progress in our journey toward authenticity, it’s crucial to differentiate between paying attention and seeking attention.
We’re currently in Leo season, where courage and love are prominent themes. Leo also brings a desire for validation and praise. If our motivation for authenticity is driven by the need for external validation, we’ll hit walls and lose power.
The quickest way to become our best selves is to be motivated by the sheer thrill of the sensation in our bodies when we do something real.
Think of a time you stood up for yourself, achieved a breakthrough, or chose love over anger in a difficult moment. Recall how it felt to be authentically you, making brave and bold decisions from a place of deeper connection to who you’re becoming.
When you drive your growth for that sensation, things might get bumpy at first, but you’ll undoubtedly soar.
With Great Love,
Faye
